Attention Drivers: Major Temporary Traffic Changes Announced!
Starting 4th July 2025, a temporary vehicle restriction will be enforced on a section of the A48 trunk road between Pen-sarn and Pont Abraham in Carmarthenshire. This is due to essential roadworks planned for the area. The Welsh Ministers, acting as the traffic authority, have issued this order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

- Order Name: A48 Trunk Road (Pen-sarn to Pont Abraham, Carmarthenshire) (Temporary Vehicle Prohibition) 2025
- Effective Date: From 8:00 PM on 4th July 2025
- Duration: Up to 18 months
- Affected Section: From a point 130 metres east of Cross Hands roundabout to its junction with the B4310 towards Porthyrhyd.

- The restriction will only be in effect during specific times, as indicated by temporary traffic signs.
- The works period is defined by these intermittent timings and will conclude once all temporary signs are permanently removed.
