- Certain roads will see complete closures or restrictions on overtaking, marked clearly with traffic signs.

- Speed limits will be reduced to either 50 mph or 30 mph, depending on the specific road and its conditions.
- Convoy working will be implemented in some areas, requiring drivers to follow a lead vehicle at speeds not exceeding 10 mph.
Affected Roads:
- M9/A9 Edinburgh – Stirling – Thurso Trunk Road: Various sections, including those near Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Inverness, and more, will have a 50 mph speed limit.
- A82 Dalnottar – Inverness Trunk Road: Sections around Fort William and beyond will have speed limits reduced to 30 mph.
- A83, A828, A830, A835, A84, A85, A86, A87, A889 Trunk Roads: Various sections will have a 30 mph speed limit.
